Park Survey Results

The Bryant Up & Coming Committee conducted a survey to receive input from community members and visitors regarding ideas for park improvements. The Survey was distributed through the Bryant Events FaceBook page and the Lady Scotties FaceBook page. QR code posters were put up in businesses in Bryant and surrounding communities. Printed surveys and QR codes were available at community events such as the American Legion Pancake Feed.

The Committee received 90 completed surveys, with the following breakdown.

The 5 most needed Park services identified were Playground Equipment, Walking Path, Covered Group Picnic Shelter, Pickle Ball Courts, and Volleyball Nets, as follows:

A significant number of respondents provided written responses to the final questions in the survey, including 41 responses to “What improvements would you like to see in the other ‘park areas’ in town,” with several references to additional playground equipment, safe walking/biking paths, and pickle ball courts. Sixty-seven responses included comments regarding improvements or services that would encourage additional use of the Park.

The final survey question asked if the respondent would donate time, equipment to be used for construction, or financial support and 14 people responded yes.

This survey helped us decide our potential phases based on what the community members would like to see most.
